The Borough of Sea Bright has a land are of 0.6 square miles (1.6km2) and is located on a silver of land between the Shrewsbury River and the Atlantic Ocean, just south of Sandy Hook. The major industry of Sea Bright shifted from fishing to tourism with the completion of the now defunct Long Branch Railroad. Today, Sea Bright has a variety of housing types, nearly all of which have waterfront views, and a small commercial district. Privatebeach clubs dominate Sea Bright˙s oceanfront, and marinas dot the riverfront.
